Broke the 1st time I used it.

I waited an inadvisable amount of time before finally putting this tool to use. Using an aluminum ferrule I followed the instructions that are written on the package backing (almost). The instructions are as follows : 1. Loosen clamping bolts locate bolts on either side of desired cable size. (A picture follows to point out where the cable sizes are indicated and where you would put clamping bolts for 3/16th crimp) 2. Insert ferrule in selected cable size and hand tighten. ( accompanying picture points to ferrule placed in the 3/16 position. 3. Feed cable through ferrule, looping it back through the tool. Allow at least 1/2" excess cable to protrude past ferrule to secure firmly. (accompanying picture points to cable looping through ferrule) 4. Tighten crimping bolt with wrench until fully seated. (No accompanying picture) END I have yet to check and it may very well be that there is a crimping bolt that is separate from the two clamping bolts hidden bellow the rubber on the swaging tools handle. I chose reason however and assumed they were referring to what they had previously addressed as clamping bolts and tightened each a half turn at a time until the head of the right bolt snapped off with at least 1/8" left to be tightened. There is no warranty of any sort indicated with this product nor is there a way to contact the manufacturer listed. Will check www. Pl PCI.com for recourse.
