Caseway 260004, Solvent Industrial Sealant, 4 oz

Caseway SC-325 is a solvent cement for bonding polycarbonate to itself and other plastics such as acrylic, PVC, vinyl, and CAB (cellulose acetate butyrate). Because of its water-thin and fast-setting characteristics, it is excellent for bonding molded parts. It will develop a strong bond and can be applied quickly with a solvent syringe, dropper, brush, or by using the “soak method”. Solvent cementing depends on the softening and intermingling of the two surfaces to be joined so that there is actual cohesion between the materials themselves. After assembly, the solvent evaporates or dissipates through the material leaving no residue. The choice of cementing technique will depend on the type of joint and material to be cemented. *Typical setting time is 2 – 5 minutes, but may be longer depending on temperature and humidity.
