Meg Cole inherits more than she wants when her father suddenly passes. Bo Porter is the manager of the racehorse farm and worked hard with Meg's father to get it started. It is just months away from turning a profit when Meg confronts him about her desire to sell it off. He persuades her to give him 6 months before she does. The following months are full of frustration, disappointment, surprises (both good and bad), love, and a life is threatened. As a romance novel, the story keeps you turning the pages with no concept of the actual time passing as you read. This is a beautiful and electric love story that includes suspense and spiritual lessons. Becky Wade instills many truths from scripture and one's relationship with God through this novel. Love with no strings attached, ready to give his life for you, undeserving or not, is portrayed beautifully. Forgiveness and learning to trust are huge issues that some characters in this story work to overcome. I love the romance in this novel. The magnetic draw between Bo and Meg is exciting and the time they spend together is one of the best parts of this novel for me. My favorite part of the book is when Meg leans 100% on God and allows Him to guide her. That part really spoke to me and has encouraged me to pray more and really seek His will.
