The Beadsmith Cordless Rotary Tool is an all-in-one tool for enabling craftsman, jewelers, woodworkers and DIYers to drill, engrave, carve, and polish even the most delicate of projects. The battery-operated cordless engraving tool uses 2 AA (1.5V) batteries (not included). The compact, pen-like design allows you to hold the engraver as you would hold a pencil, making for smooth progress. The operation switch is on the side of the tool, making it easy to activate. To use, simply touch the bit to the item to be engraved. A suggested tip is to practice on inexpensive material to get a feel for it before attempting to engrave finished jewelry items.

The tool comes with 6 interchangeable tips for a multitude of uses. The pink grinding tip is designed for polishing, while the sanding band is ideal for smoothing areas. Use the white buffer for polishing and cleaning. There are 3 engravers: the conical tip, the sharp tip and the ball shape tip. All of these can be used for carving as well and are suitable for use on metal, glass, stone, wood and plastic surfaces. Tip installation in very easy. Hold down the shaft lock button and loosen the collet. Insert the new tip and tighten the collet. Release the shaft lock button. Repeat this any time you need to change the tip.
