I was wowed by the response of the finches and chickadees for this variety of safflower seed. These golden safflower seeds are a little smaller than the white safflower seeds, and for the same amount of work for them to get to the meat inside the reward is smaller, too, but they keep coming back for more. I've never had this response to the white safflower seeds.

Lyric Golden Safflower Seeds is gold!

The House Finches love this seed but only if it is the Lyric Golden Safflower seeds. I have bought other brands before and the birds disliked those seeds so much, they used the breaks to shove them into the ground! Not with this brand! They sit there enjoying and savoring these seeds! The only bad thing for me is the cleanup of seed hulls in the yard!
