This shredder was too much money for the performace received. My first of this brand was great, and lasted over 10 years before my housekeeper broke it. I came back for this brand due to my first one. Chose this one as the price seemed right for promises made. But it is not a good value for the price.
First, unless you put in no more than two pages, it clogs up inside the shredder. Further, it clogs unless you fold pages in half. It struggles to shredd ONE credit card, which it is advertized as being able to do. Thirdly, the drawer/bin is such cheap plastic that when you open to empty, or clear a clog, it's VERY difficult to get it back in the machine.
