This is a cool lantern! Camping/Emergency uses is why I ordered it. It produces good light even with just 1 candle burning. Light all 3 candles and it does produce heat that warms food . I was lucky and I already have a large box of candles that fit great, otherwise the candles I see for sell appear kinda spendy. I will search around more and I bet I will find some unscented candles the right size and buy in bulk .

You are able to use one, two, or three candles depending on the amount of light or heat you want. Cook a meal on your campfire/stove keep it warm on your lantern. Or have a hot beverage and light too.

It's a good product for an emergency.

It gives off instantaneous heat, and for a small heater a lot of heat. I feel secure knowing I have it for an emergency in a blackout. I got this through Walmart from Moose Rivers Outdoor Products.
