Love at first night!

This mattress gives, with no doubts, the most comfortable sleeping I have ever had. The morning backache is gone, as well as the nighttime restless legs. This item is a hybrid mix of cool gel and memory foam that molds to your body as you lay on it, giving support where needed. It's also *so* much cooler on these hot summer nights, being made to pair with a platform bed (which I did although it can also be used the traditional way, with a box springs), allowing more and better circulation a complete 360 degrees. Until now I simply never thought that would make such a difference. The attractive gray covering is soft and actually seems to "grip" the sheet and I haven't needed to do more than use my hand to smooth the bedding before making my bed each morning. This is a "mattress in a box" and comes highly compressed, wrapped tightly in plastic. The queen weighs nearly 90 pounds so it's definitely a two person job to unpack and position on the bed. Once unwrapped, it's suggested giving 72 hours to allow the mattress to recover to its full size and to let any smells go away. That said, I didn't notice any particularly bothersome odors and the mattress recovered size very quickly. This is an item of exceptional quality and I highly recommend.

Best mattress ever

The pictures doesn't do the mattress justice to be honest. Really nice mattress... Made myself laugh taking it out of the package. I had this thought it was going to explode out of the box or something so here I am carefully removing each staple in the box. Just so you all know, it doesn't. It is vacuum sealed in a bag, that bag is wrapped in a circle plastic, then packaged in the box... Once I got it out of the packaging, on the metal bed frame and on the box spring... Best mattress ever... I am scheduled for multi level lumbar fusion in October just to give you an idea just how bad my back is... This is SO nice... You would think you would sink low in a foam type mattress. This is a bit firmer then you would expect. Not sure if that goes away over time or not but I kind of like it starting out a bit firmer! Really... Really... Nice mattress!!! Cannot say enough about it... I measured it... Before during and after the recommended three days airing out allowing it to expand to full height.. The smell was in no way over powering... It got to around 11 inches... the card it comes with states that it will expand to all advertised inches with use of the mattress that it just needs regular air to circulate in the foam... With the entire bed set up... I am 5'9 and I have to climb up to get into the bed... more then enough height! Highly highly recommend this mattress... Seriously comfortable!

Very Comfortable

Its surprising when these arrive in such a small box and then you break the vacuum seal and it expands to much. Coming from a traditional mattress to this is night and day. Normally i like my mattresses alittle firmer but ive gotten used to this one. The Memory foam is way different than what im used to, i can pretty much body slam this one and it absorbs all the energy, unfortunately that means jumping on the bed like you did as a kid isnt as fun. The mattress has a cover on is and on the bottom of the cover has what i assume to be little dots to keep the mattress from sliding around (see pictures) and the cover itself can be removed for cleaning which is nice. Mattress when i measure it is about 11 inches thick after letting everything settle and using it for a while and i only let it settle for a few hours before using it the first time but thats quite a bit taller than my old mattress, enough so that my dogs dont like to jump up on the bed because its taller now. My mattress had alittle bit of a smell that went away after a reasonable amount of time, some people may notice the smell others may not.
