The Comandante® Coffee Grinder C40 Nitro Blade® coffee grinders impress with their unique and beautiful design and are manufactured 100% in Unteraching, Germany. Highest quality through high-class handling and robust materials!
You can grind from powder-fine (Mokka) to very coarse (‘Karlsbader’ pot) with an easy click-system up to 35 different grinding levels.
The grinding mechanism “cuts” coffee beans in a very unique way. The grind result is extremely exact and very uniform with the least amount of coffee dust. Both ring and core are cut out of a solid block of high-alloyed, high-nitrogen stainless steel. This makes the Nitro Blade very sharp and strong with excellent edge retention and wear resistance. The center axle is fixed and supported by two micro ball bearings for better distribution of force and grind momentum. Both micro ball bearings are encapsulated with rubber for protection and smooth operation.

Comandante introduces two new C40 MK4 Nitro Blade® variants featuring smoked oak veneers: Vintage Oak Classic and Vintage Oak Royal. Oak has long been valued for its strength, resilience, and distinctive grain, making it a fitting addition to the Comandante lineup.
For the first time, Comandante has successfully used oak not only for the crank knob but also for the iconic body veneer. Both versions are handcrafted in Germany and feature matching smoked oak knobs and veneers.
- Vintage Oak Classic offers carefully selected oak with a rich, deep tone.
- Vintage Oak Royal features exceptionally rare veneers personally handpicked by Comandante founder Bernd Braune for their particularly striking grain patterns.
Each grinder is a natural, one-of-a-kind product. Due to the unique character of the wood, visual variations are intentional and cannot be exchanged.
