The Sherlock Holmes Feature Film Collection ( (DVD))

Grenada TV produced a series of television shows for the BBC based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories in the 1980s. Jeremy Brett plays Sherlock Holmes like Doyle wrote the character in his canon of 60 stories. The Victorian Age setting s and the production design is outstanding. Edwin Hardwick is excellent as Dr.Watson. But it is Jeremy Brett who makes each of these stories compelling. Brett has an infectious laugh and a clever way of saying his lines. The color and sound of the DVDs is very good and Walmart's price for the 5 disc set is a real value. Highly recommended!!
