The screen is attractive and sturdy, but doesn't fit our fireplace opening because even the smallest size was too big and the custom sizing was too expensive.

surprised there is an space at the bottom

I have 2 other screens from here and love them, 5 stars! I bought this one as a gift and did not realize it does not sit flush to the ground and there a is couple inch gap. Didn't notice because its one of the only ones that is not shown on a real hearth. This was disappointing and would have gotten a different one if I had known. Only reason I wouldn't recommend is because of this. Design just doesn't make sense. The screen itself is beautiful!
