This shoe is lightweight, but strong and well constructed. It's stylishness is it's minimalism harking back to the "hiking boots" we all wore in college. I've just returned from a Transatlantic cruise, from wintry Spain and Africa to the summery islands of the Caribbean. The Ontario Mid Waterproof was with me all the way providing support and refined elegance.

Great boot!

I have found the Ontario mid boot to be extremely well made and designed. The uppers are very durable and even after extended wear still look great. The brass hardware used for eyelets and hooks are robust and don't fray the shoelaces. This lightweight boot punches above its weight class.
