Great improvement over braid lines, you keep the abrasion resistance, no stretch and add much better casting distance. The big bonus is how well the Nanofil stays on the spool. Because of wind knots braid did not last long on my reels, the Nanofil does not tangle near as much and when it does it is fairly easy to un-tangle.

I have seen a lot of controversy over this line, some really good, and some bad comments. I am on my second spool of this line, and I stepped up from 12lb to 17lb, and the hi-vis green. I have learned to tie the Nano-Knot and use it exclusively to tie on my terminal tackle. I just spent a weekend fishing in the Texas bays, and it was incredibly windy.
