trilene XT in 6 lb weight

I filled all my crappie poles with this line. It works great. It has enough strength to fish deep in the brush and will simply straighten the hook most of the time when snagged saving lots of jigs. It also has the strength when a big fish comes along. I have caught a lot of large stripers in the 20+ pound range on this same 6 lb lin. I did catch a 22 lb drum yesterday. The 6 lb line handled the job well.

I have use Trilene XT for several decades. It's always been great fishing line and the improved formula is even better. It's manageabe and durable. When you need monofilament around heavy cover, this is the right choice. Great for worming, spinnerbaits, square billed cranks and even top water around nasty cover.
