2 cargo pockets on the sides with 2 pockets each, 2 on front, 2 on back. My son loves how soft the material is for jeans. He puts as many tools and screws as he can carry into his pockets. These jeans are perfect for him. My son is on the slender side. Bought the slim 12 for 10yr old. Nice fit and not super baggy. Plenty long on him too which is nice because he has really long skinny legs.
