The high back extends to the upper back for greater lumbar support. The locking back angle adjustment lever changes the angle of your torso to reduce disc pressure. This draft chair is essential for any profession where work surfaces are above standard height, such as lab technicians, architects, graphic artists, or any other creative assignment. Chair easily swivels 360 degrees to get the maximum use of your workspace without strain. The pneumatic adjustment lever will allow you to easily adjust the seat to your desired height. The chrome foot ring can also be adjusted to your height preference. The adjustable armrests take the pressure off the shoulders and the neck.

Great drafting chair for big & tall people
The key phrase is "big and tall". I am 6'-2" and just big enough for the chair. For me the chair is very comfortable for all day working. If I was any shorter, the chair would be too big.

Missing parts, damaged box
The box arrived all torn up and the bolts to mount the arms were gone. I couldn't get new bolts from Walmart. they wanted me to pack the whole thing up in another box and return it. I also could have chatted about the problem, invested an hour of my time going through the Customer Service maze. I'll just buy new bolts. The chair seems nice, but you will roll the dice if you order one in this packaging. Feel lucky? What will fall out of yours?
