Richland Beaded Charger Plate 13" Orange Set of 48

I love using charger plates to embellish my table settings. Even the most bland or every day dishes look better when placed on top of a charger plate. I have them in red, green and gold. When silver charger plates became available on spark reviewer, I was excited to review them. These charger plates are very well made. I've purchased charger plates from places like the dollar store and they are a bit flimsy and weak and easily scratched. These are made much better. These charger plates are 13 inches and no matter how large your dinner plate is, it will look good on these. The beading around the edges is a nice touch. I think it makes it look a bit more formal. Why use charger plates? When we have family dinners, there are too many of us to have individual placemats. Charger plates catch the little pieces of food that sometimes slip off the edge of the plate. This in turn, saves my fancy table cloth from stains. They also help to retain the heat in the plates because they aren't directly sitting on the table. They really dress up any table. I also use charger plates as serving dishes for deserts, fruit, cheese, bread or other appetizers. A charger plate under a vase of fresh flowers not only protects your table but also adds a bit of charm to the table. During holidays, I place a potted plant in the center of a charger plate with greenery around the bottom for added decoration. A simple plate of store bought cookies looks more appetizing when placed on a charger. In conclusion, these are very well made and reasonably priced. Unless buying these as a gift for someone, if you take care of them, I'm sure they will last a lifetime.

Love these!! I use my late mother's silvered rim China and these will really help them to pop! These will so dress up the dining table. Plan on using them for all special family dinners in the dining room.
