Hello Walmart Team! I teach knitting on the Westside/Los Angles. This is a forever-wear yarn. Excellent for slippers. I'm knitting a slipper pattern that I knitted as a child 40 years ago, however, I required 2 or 3 ply Phentex. The slippers are not as plush or as nice with 1 ply. You should offer this Phentex yarn in 2 or 3 ply. Anyone know where I can find 2 or 3 ply Phentex yarn? Happy Knitting.

easy to work with

This yarn is not as thick as the one I use to knit with but will see how it wears. Could not buy much of a variety of colours back home in Canada and then found it on WalMart.com online shopping and site to store. Everything has a high rating because thinner is better than no yarn at all. Ladies I have made the slippers for here say they are like the ones their Moms use to make for them, soft and comfy and nice fit. The yarn is thinner but the slippers are not stretching and keeping their shape. BERNAT use to have lots of colours but not as much a choice now. Hope they get back into colours. Got a friend using it again. I will be ordering more before I leave for home because it is a good yarn and easy to work with. Stays together and does not twist when knitting with it. Have been using it since back in the 80s and it is a real nice yarn to knit with and all ages like the finished product.

Great to find Phentex yarn to make slippers!!!

I was really happy to find and be able to purchase the Bernat Phentex Slipper and Craft Yarn. Love the variety of colors which are not only basic colors but also include some fun colors too. Besides receiving a pattern with each ball of yarn, you can always google patterns that uses Phentex yarn. I am happy to be able to start knitting slippers!
