Amazing Yarn-Mesa

I've been using Lion Brand Amazing yarn for about 2 years. I first found it at a craft store in El Paso, TX but it's a long way from where I live (60+ miles). The price is also a bit steep at regularly 6.99/skein. Walmart started carrying it in the stores about a year ago, and for only 4.97/skein. That suited me just fine. But now, they've dropped it from the stores and it has to be ordered online. The price is the same (then add tax) and ships Site to Store with free shipping. It only took 5 business days to arrive, so that's not bad. BTW, I love the yarn especially for shawls. Nice feel, lovely colors, and works up very well. Seldom is there a knot in the middle of a skein, but if there is, it's usually not a color match. Depending on what I'm making, I either knit on or I snip the knot and start with another skein that matches. Walmart carries 21 of the 22 colors available which is also nice.

I was fearful when I ordered several skeens to complete an afghan. Much to my surprise and pleasure, even though the dye lots are different they blended wonderfully. I just mixed them with the others I had and it turned out just awesome or should I say AMAZING. This is the second time I have used the Amazing Yarn and again I LOVE IT, so soft and colors are better than pictured! The pastel colors make great baby blankets. The dark colors are very bold and the afghan turns out great! I will continue to use the Amazing Yarn for everything - much better than yarns labeled soft or baby.
