Beware of use with pool plumbing

I used this on 4 joints in a pool pump/filter setup. I tightened the threads as much as I could by hand, and then made 2 more turns with a rubber wrench and 3 of the 4 joints leaked. The leak was very slow, but water accumulates and drips. Very frustrating since all of the other joints are glued and now I have to cut it all out and try again with some other product... I guess I'll go back to teflon tape.
