Outlook of the North East India : An Agricultural Perspective (Hardcover)

The contributions in this volume—presented at a national seminar organized by the North-East India Council for Social Science Research—take stock of the state of the agriculture in North-East India. Analyzing the impact of recent agricultural changes on population growth, migration, and health, this account addresses a variety of issues, including crop diversification pattern, land size and productivity, agrarian reforms, and the roles of women in the agricultural sector.
