Required for a wall mounting bracket

The wall mount blocked access to one of the HDMI ports on the back of the TV. I need to sue that port, so I bought this pigtail adapter as an extender to enable me to connect a Roku or sound bar or cable box. I tested all three of those devices with this extender, and it functions correctly for all. A
