Pepper Description: The Yaki Blue is a cross of Filius blue and a Bhut Jolokia pepper. Now in it's 6th generation (2017), we are happy to be able to supply a stable seed crop for this variant. The plant and pods are a very deep purple, some pods are huge. The pods will take a very long time to completely ripen, but when they do the plant looks like it's catching fire. Flavor is neat as well. The initial Bhut Jolokia flavor is strong but melts away to sweetish cayenne flavors. The Scoville on this pepper likely clock in at around 600,000 to 800,000.
