Not Just For Breakfast, but Great for Snacks
I do not eat this cereal in the traditional since, bowl, cereal and milk. I eat this dry, 1/2 cup at a time as a snack in between meals. This is some REALLY good cereal. It has a great crunch, and the subtle berry flavor is the bomb. It has pretty good protein content for a cereal. Walmart has it for a pretty decent price and it is convenient to be able to order it online from Walmart.com
No more oats? Please bring the old recipe back!
Why would you change the main ingredient? Whole grain oats are bumped from first ingredient (to down the list of ingredients), soy moved to the top, and whole grains come in as the third ingredient but no longer oats. Instead the whole grain oats has been replaced by “puffed whole grains.” What the heck is that? It hardly has any taste and it feels like I'm eating the filler portion of the cereal without the oats. It's so strange. And NO I do NOT want more sugar!! I have low blood sugar and chose this cereal for the whole grains, low sugar, and high protein. I also don't need more soy. Like many others, this was my favorite cereal for years. I appreciate the amount of protein is unchanged but I'm not sure I'll buy this anymore. Seems Kashi is prioritizing cost cuts over a quality and enjoyable product. I wonder if they'll truly save money with all of us long-time customers switching off. Please bring back the old recipe!
Why'd you change the perfect cereal...??
The original was a favorite safe food of mine, especially with my health... but the new recipe is hard for me to /want/ to eat. :c It's harder on my teeth, bland, scarce on berries and texture?? I really hope the delicious original is brought back, maybe as another product... I don't think I'll continue to eat Kashi, not like this. :((
