My 7 year old granddaughter is Hispanic, with brown hair & a nice tan. In my day Barbie was blonde & gave kids the impression that you had to blonde with blue eyes to be beautiful. I'm trying to teach my granddaughter that it's possible to be Hispanic & beautiful.

I can be president doll

This doll was intended for a little girl who was told girls can't be president. I'm so glad Mattel made this barbie. I looked everywhere and it was either out of stock or too expensive. Luckily they had it at Mattel store and a for reasonable price. I'm going to order one for me now.

great career barbie

i have thought about getting this barbie for a long long time. and when the right sale came along i could not help myself. by far one of the best career barbies that mattell has come out with. my daughter is still very young and does not understand the importance of a presidential barbie but one day she will and i am very happy to be able to give her such an inspirational toy. great quality. i love this Barb!
