LOL Elmo definitely meets my expectations. I am a doll collector and every now and them something like this catches my attention and I buy it. I also have Tickle Me Elmo. The two products are very similar and if you have one you really don't need to purchase the other. I did not buy this product for a child. I am a 60+ senior and yes, LOL Elmo makes me laugh out loud.
