Chaco Banded Z/Cloud Sandal Men Solid Black

This was my first pair of Chacos without the toe strap. My first pair (complete with toe strap) had lasted 16 years! Naturally I was apprehensive about changing anything up. These were a natural move away from the toe strap, as they have an extra trap in the mid-foot. My great toe feels liberated (but not at the cost of support loss). Still able to climb, run, and explore as much as ever with these and with freedom to wiggle my great toe!

I've been wearing Chaco sandals for about 16 years, and have loved them for so many reasons : sturdy soles- great for feet with plantar fasciitis, wonderful for water sports, well made, easily repaired through the company and more. This new style worked well for me, I'm typically a 9.5-10 in women's shoes in general but wear the men's 8 Chaco sandal and it's perfect.
