Doesn't Work With Google Home Assistant

This specific model does not work with Google Home Assistant, even though instructions and packaging indicate that it does. This is a known issue with the manufacturer. Their support team was honest, telling me that they were working on a fix, but it wasn't coming quickly. The issue is with the Merkury Smart App and not the device. Older versions of this plug connect to other apps that will connect with Google Home.

So it says on the package that they were on Clarence for eight dollars and with my delivery I had to pay $12 apiece so that I feel like somebody owes me eight more dollars because I got two of them for $12 a piece and the tag clearly says eight

Doesn’t pair, doesn’t work

Does not pair. It will ask you for WiFi, Bluetooth and location. You will encounter one of three issues: 1) get to the last step of naming it and it encounters an error, 2) won’t recognizes the device so it can’t pair, or 3) you somehow manage to pair it then you’ll get a “the device is updating” screen, the update won’t work because your device has unpaired. I don’t recommend this product. I will be returning it
