I Love the Design. Has Deer, Squirrels and Hummingbirds! You Can't Go Wrong With That! Alright...Down to the Nitty Gritty... It is backed with a covered textured nonslip tyoe coating. The Front side with the Forest Critters Design reminds me of a super thick soft almost felt feel to it. I like that it isn't heavy. A really pretty rug. There are some fold mark on the rug but hopefully as it acclimates and lays flat they will work their way out. The birds, tree, and deer pattern does make for a nice statement rug. Can't wait to show it off at our next gathering.
