I received the bicycle with a damaged frame (frame bent where the rear wheel derailleur mounts restricting the rear wheel movement). I did not know Walmart was using a third party (Eurobike) as I used my Walmart Credit Card to pay for the bicycle at Walmart.com. Since Walmart used a third party, I couldn't return the defective, unrideable bicycle to my local Walmart Store. The customer service representative refused to take it, but instructed me to contact the third party (Eurobike) for return instructions. So far, this has been one big mess as I can only communicate with Eurobike by email. When I emailed them they informed me that they do not take returns or give refunds. Eurobike stated that they have sold hundred of thousands of bicycles and never had a bent frame and asked for a picture of the bent frame. I immediately sent pictures that clearly show the bent frame. They then offered to send me a derailleur and a bike frame but I told them that won't work because I'm not a bicycle repairman and I cannot transfer components from bike frame to another. Although they advertise the bike only requires about 15 minutes to finish assembly as it comes 80 % assembled (I had to attach the front wheel, seat and handle bar which was easy). But requesting me to transfer components from one frame to another or installing a derailleur is not easy. This is ridiculous and unreasonable request.
I spent my hard earned money expecting to receive a new functioning bicycle and what I got was just the opposite, a broke bike.
I received an email from Eurobike stating they are sending something to me in the mail. They didn't say what they are sending so I asked them in a email but they did not respond to my email. So now I'm waiting to see what is going to show up in the mail. I'm not sure if it's a new bike, a new frame, or what. This is really poor customer support service, not at all what I expected from Walmart.
