Dungeon Siege III (Xbox 360) Square Enix, 662248910260

I've been a fan of this series since the first game. The thrill of mowing down whole groups of enemies with powerful spells and abilities is great. While I'm only a short way through the story, I am thorougly enjoying the direction things appear to be going. The voice acting is notably good, especially from your "mentor", Odo. My only issue with this game is the twisted control scheme the designers chose. It's completely unintuitive and there haa been more than one occasion when I died simply because I couldn't get to the combination of left button, left trigger, and 'B' quickly enough to cast a healing spell. It would have been easy to have the control scheme customizable so you could assign spells/abilities to whatever combination of presses made sense to you in the heat of battle. I'm hoping with time I'll start to get used to it, but so far it's made an otherwise enjoyable game more difficult than it should be. Still, for the price I paid ($30), it was definitely worth it.
