Big and heavy.

First, these are big bowls. I didn't have a clear idea before ordering them of how large 40 oz. is. Well, you can fit a whole bunch of pasta in there. I mean, 8 oz. to a cup, that's five cups. Second, these bowls are heavy and sturdy. When you set them down on the table, they aren't going to move around much. The sides curve up enough and are deep enough to trap food against. And mine are cobalt, which pleases me greatly.
