Nice microwave flat Bowl to cook cinnamon rolls
I actually purchased this dish for feeding my cats which they didn't like either because it was too big dark I don't know why but I did find another use for it. I used it to cook Pillsbury cinnamon rolls in the microwave and it worked perfect. I don't like to constantly heat up the oven and the dish cooked evenly in the microwave it wasn't extremely hot when I took it out clean's really well and if you do have to use it for pet food or water the sides are at the right height. Would be excellent for a salad bowl.

I bought this to go with dishes that I previously bought, not Mainstays Alessandra Matte but black in color. These go well with them and I'm pleased that it is very near the style of other Mainstays dinner bowls. Check the size specifics for the best comparison. This style is better for salad than for soup because it is more like a plate than a bowl. This style is also referred to as a pasta bowl.

Quality dish
It's a ceramic dinner bowl. Neutral tan color. It weighs 1lb 13oz on my kitchen scale. Inside measurement is 8" and is almost 1.75" high. It holds 32 oz liquid. It is dishwasher and microwave safe. The sticker says it may get hot in the microwave. I would recommend it.
