You never know what you are going to get quality wise when it comes to unknown brands. But sometimes, and I think in my case, more often than not you find the diamonds in the rough. This is not that diamond. So lets start with a few details. ____ Size: I got the 3XL, which fits perfectly as a 42in waist. No complaints, the fit was perfect. ____ Color: In my pictures it is actually a shade darker, not by much. But the color was excellent. ____ Pockets: There are four pockets, two at the waist, and two on the sides of your hips/legs. The back flaps where there would be back pockets, are just the flaps as others may have mentioned. It doesn't bother me that there are no back pockets, I am good with the ones that it has. However, the side pockets at the hips, there is not button, or velcro, or some way to keep them shut/closed. ____ Zipper: It is a little short, but should be doable. ____ Fabric: Thin. 75% cotton, 25% linen. This is the area where the cheap comes in. And it is not that it isn't good. I wear cargo shorts of all kinds and brands, but compared to those this is like one layer of fabric. The fabric feels good, but you may wonder how long it will last. If it lasts a long time, then I would raise this to a 4/5 rating. ____ Stitching: Good in many areas, solid even, but poor in others. Probably 90% solid, and 10% rough. ____ Length: Excellent. ____ I will make use of these shorts and hope they last. These are not so bad, but I do wish they were thicker.
