Happily Surprised!

Having bought another companys 100% Polyester yarn & absolutely hating everything about it, I was reluctant to try polyester yarn again. But I tried Re-Spun Bonus Bundle yarn in the Deep Denim color & others for hats for the HatNotHate campaign. I ended up LOVING it! It has a great drape, is easy to work with, frogs well & the colors are gorgeous. Its texture reminds me a little like Wool Ease but strands are more between a DK & Worsted weight which I like. The silver color description says "muted light blue" and the Raisin says "dark cool blue" but I am not getting any blue tones in them at all in person but I love the yarn so much I am going to use them for other things. Will purchase again!

Not so great

I loved the color of this yarn and I like that it's recycled. I made two swatches and had to go down at least 1-2 needle sizes because the yarn is more like DK weight. I also found that it split a lot. I ended up donating the yarn rather than spend the time needed to make a sweater.
