Farberware Professional 10 Piece Plastic Nesting Measuring Cup and Spoon Set Black

I received this product for free in exchange for my fair and honest review. Honestly, when I found out I would be reviewing a set of measuring cups, I was initially unsure of what I could possibly say. I mean, a measuring cup is a measuring cup, right? My expectations were low, and my month was chaotic, as May-with-school-aged-children tends to be, so it took some time for me to really try out this product and develop my thoughts. And I do have thoughts, even beyond the basic, yes it can measure - there are some features that I really appreciate. 1) The first picture shows two aspects that I like - the sides of these oval measuring cups are slightly flared out from the bottom up, which helps them drain more efficiently after washing. In comparison, the blue one in the picture collects drops of water that stay along the inside bottom edge and don't easily drip back out. Additionally, I like how each measuring size is part of the molded plastic on the underside of the cup, which will be nice to refer to in case in happens to scratch off the top some day. 2) The second picture shows the piece that connects the measuring spoons. I particularly like how easy it is to open and close this piece, no complicated rings or hard-to-open bits, making it simple to just grab what you need if you don't want to dirty the whole set. Other things I appreciate - the whole set stacks together nicely, and the oval shape allows it to fit in a narrower space, which seems to work better for my silverware drawer setup. The only negative I've noticed is that the measuring cup size label is starting to get slightly scratched on one of the cups, so I am unsure of the longevity of the labels. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it!
