Sunex 9732 1/4" Drive 44pc Socket & Bit Set w/ Mini Dual Flex Head Ratchet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had pretty high expectations with this set, but I have to say it's even better than I expected. I used this to pull the door panels off of my truck and replace the speakers yesterday. It had every size and bit needed in 1 small package. I also used it when installing an amp in my Jeep the day before. This set is perfect for someone that does a lot of interior work or just works with various bits and smaller sockets. In most cases, it's perfect for a body man as well replacing bumpers, fenders, etc. The ratchet is really small and can fit into tight places, but the best part is I can have a bit on one side and socket on the other at the same time. This came in handy because I didn't have to keep switching back and forth. I plan on ordering another one of these sets to keep in my desk drawer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I've been very impressed with this kit. It's handled everything I've asked from it. The bits are high quality, fit well and the selection covers probably 99% of what you would run into on a day to day basis. This was also the first time that I've ever used spline sockets and I really like them in this application. At first I was uncertain how well they would function, being that each socket covers both metric and SAE sizes eg, the 3/8" is also the 10mm. But from my experience with the sockets included in this kit they work well in the designed, low torque application. The ratchet is fine tooth and very smooth, The flex head works well and Isn't floppy which is one of my biggest gripes when they do not have a detent. The only complaint I would have with the ratchet, is that it is not the lowest profile possible since one side has the square drive and the other has the insert for the hex bits. Not the biggest thing, and certainly not a deal breaker but it could cause it to not fit in very confined spaces while using one of the hex bits. Overall I am VERY pleased with the kit. It is small, high quality, very portable and covers a large amount of fasteners that you would encounter, whether it be a bolt or a screw. I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a versatile, all-in-one bit / socket set.
