A Happy Ending

Elmer's “Multi-Purpose” glue formula is one of my household staples. I keep on hand at all times. There was an accident in early spring involving a large, thick, very heavy terracotta pot and a man with a shoved, causing big chunks of the rim to break in pieces. This has been a big part of my backyard decor for years. Before crying and having to search for a replacement (with a hefty price tag plus hiring someone for pickup and disposal) I had the wild idea to try gluing the pieces together. Honestly, I didn't think any kind of glue could mend my pot. But I tried anyway. After using a generous amount of Elmer's multi-purpose, I secured together with clips and let it sit for a couple days. It's now seven months later, and after storms and many pounding rains, my pot is still holding strong all the while housing a beautiful healthy banana tree. .

Great Crafting Glue!

I've used Elmer's glue as long as I can remember. I use this particular one when I make notepads. Cut your pages to the desired size then clamp the stack tightly close to the top end of the stack. Paint the top end with a couple of layers of glue, letting it dry in between coats. Each page peels off easily.
