Sadly, this end of season batch was moldy

Normally blackberries are very delicious this time of the year. But they go very very bad very quickly at the end of the season. All the other blackberries I’ve gotten this season have been delicious and perfect. However this batch was soft, mushy and filled with mold!! (see photo).
