Fellowes Cosmic 2 125 Laminator 10 Pouches Starter Kit

I am an elementary school teacher and I needed a new laminator to start the year. I have bought Fellowes products in the past and have always had luck, which is why I took a good look at this brand. The reviews online were in this laminators favor. It seems to be one of the better ones on the market. I ordered this laminator online and received it within a week, great timing and free shipping. I've done quite a lot of laminating (name tags, bulletin board items, numerous centers for student stations, charts, etc.) It didn't jam, it warmed up nicely, and it never over heated, and I laminated for about two hours straight. Pro's - Has a release lever - On/Off Switch - Cold or Hot option(s) - 3 Mil and 4 Mil settings but is said to laminate 5 mil. In my classroom I typically only use 3 Mil, so this works great. - Comes with laminating sheets (to start) - It can laminate photos - 12" option to laminate which is nice for larger items - Lightweight - pretty easy to carry - Doesn't seem to overheat (used it for 2 hrs with no problem) - Great warranty (compared to some others) Con(s) - Doesn't have a reverse function, although it does have the lever - 8 minute warm up (really this isn't much of a con, it's pretty typical) ***Tip - I ordered laminating sheets from Sam's Club (Walmart) online (shipped and received in less than a week) 200 sheets for $9.88 - best around.
