Good buy

This mix is geared toward making soup, as it has a lot of parsley. Carrots predominate. The overall flavor and price are very good. I have a hard time keeping fresh vegetables and hate having to throw them out when they get old. Being able to use dehydrated vegetables when needed works well. I don't mind the limited selection in this mix at all.

It is what it says it is. No complaints.

There isn't a lot to say about this. It's literally a bag of dried veggies to be used in soups and such. You're not going to get a super strong taste or anything but it adds a fair bit to otherwise bland meals and, of course, you need some vegetables in general anyway. I got the 5lbs bag and it's a BIG bag. This should last a while. The plastic is pretty thick so it will keep pretty well, but it wouldn't hurt to move half or so to mylar bags or something to really be sure if you don't use it every day or something. I can't really think of anything I would complain about. This does everything it should do.

Good taste and appearance

As with the smaller 2lb pouch, this 5lb bag is an great mix of colorful dehydrated vegetables for use as ramen toppings or additions into existing soup mixes. Definitely boosts appearance of ramen or soups. Several teaspoons added to the pot of rice before cooking creates great visual interest and added flavor. Keep in mind this is not a caloric soup blend as there is no flour, starch, or beans in it. This dried vegetable flake mix was created to give both flavor and visual interest. The mixture has flakes of dried vegetables that are small enough to stay mixed. But before opening the sealed package the first time, maybe sharking the package a bit in different orientations to remix the smallest tiny pieces with the bigger flakes is worth doing.
