Let's talk about the wins first. It comes in a small box. The rod comes in pieces that you need to screw together. The two end finials screw into the rod as well. The black color doesn't scratch easily. Now, the heads-ups. I needed olive oil (I was out of WD-40) to loosen the screw that makes the bracket longer. The third bracket (for the middle) is a must because it can create a sagging middle. So, smart on the manufacturer's part. Lastly, I will have leftover rod pieces. I wish Phancir offered an option to buy the end rod pieces and finials. By the way, I haven't installed the brackets yet because I have to wait for my handyman appointment next week.

I read reviews before deciding to get this one, and I am blown away. But they are a little heavy to come with that sturdiness that was described in other reviews. I wanted a curtain rod that matched one I already have. The box seemed small, but then I opened it and it had pieces you screw together. Very solid. Even the decoration at the end feels solid compared to my curtain rod I paid more for in 2023. Instructions were beautifully clear. I used ai to help me get a precise placement in inches from where the trim was located. I'm used to the type of curtain rod that moves around unless you have the bracket screwed in tightly to hold it in place. Not this one. the end of it moves to extend, but the rest is solidly in place. I like that you can extend how far away from the wall the curtains hang. We need that for this set because of the trim around the window. Very sturdy. Very simple, clear instructions. Quality curtain rod.
