would not recommend

This unit was terrible. I was really excited to get a smart thermostat but this one was not. I had issues with reading the temp in the house correctly even after the firmware update. This thing was off by ten degrees so had to reinstall our old manual one. Would not recommend to anyone. Even at the clearance price of 19 I bought it for.

Do not buy

If I could give zero stars i would. The temp on this thermostat is all over the place. I have calibrated and re-calibrated the temp but it is always off. So, either my house is freezing or really hot. I'm afraid to see my heating bill. Don't buy this! We threw out the packaging as soon as we installed it and I have no clue as to where the receipt went so I'm stuck with this.

Verified Purchase

Not very smart! Buyer Beware!

After a couple of months, in the middle of winter, the heat randomly started shutting off and not working. I'd leave for work and it was 70 degrees in the house and when I would come home it would be 55 degrees or I would be sleeping at night and then wake up freezing cold. Luckily, my pipes never burst or frozen but BUYER BEWARE!! I had to remove and reinstall my old "dumb" thermostat that I never have had any issues with.
