The products are quite good and fit correctly on my chainsaw, but this is only after having purchased a 6-pack of incorrect chains. While it is true many chains will fit on say a Stihl MS170, the LOW PROFILE version was the original configuration. Most pages indicate "check for fitment on your device" which is difficult when buying online. I had not noticed the LP requirement. So yes, the other chains would have fit on my chainsaw as long as the bar and sprocket were also the non-LP version. I think it would have helped if the other possible products were tagged as "not same as original configuration" or something like that. Otherwise, we only get a result of 120 or so bars, chains and sprockets that fit a particular saw, but not really. A bit confusing.
