SheaMoisture African Black Soap is my new favorite and now the only soap I'll use. As a woman in her thirties, still struggling with body acne, this soap seems to help calm my sensitive skin without over drying. I even use it on my face, followed by the SheaMoisture Moisturizer in the glass jar.

I have very dry and sensitive skin and allergies and many types of soap cause reactions with my skin. I have been using the Dr. Squatch and Crate 61 natural soap bars, but I find them very small for the price, and they wear quickly. I gave this soap a try and I absolutely love it! It has a light fragrance that slightly reminds me of black licorice, and I find it very pleasant. The soap bar itself is very thick, almost like washing with a brick! The soap wears very well and lasts a very long time. I find that cutting the bars in half doubles the life of the soap, and makes it easier to hold and wash with. It lathers well, clean and removed dry skin and it keeps my skin healthy and moisturized. It is not entirely natural ingredients, but close enough and very mild on my skin. The price is exceptionally affordable compared to other “natural” soap products. Definitely recommend!
