New smell is not the best.

This new scent is so bad. I have never left a review online before but I am sitting down doing homework right now and the scent of the new "original" dawn dish soap is overpowering my whole kitchen, I tried to clean it off my counters and the bottle but the scent is still here. To make things worse, it smells like mildew. PLEASE can we go back to the other soap scent? I loved this soap before :( 5 stars for original soap.

Terrible New Scent

The new scent is truly awful. It clings to my hands for hours and can be headache-inducing. I also find that I am going through the soap faster than I used to, so I'm not sure if they changed the formula? It feels like one drop is not as powerful as it used to be.

Overpowering smell

Like many, I have used Dawn for decades, buying it because that is what my mother bought. It was the most cost effective, grease cutting dish soap I had ever used. And most important, my husband could be in the kitchen when I used it. He has severe scent allergies and we make it a point to purchase non-scented products. To our great dismay, my recent purchase of Dawn refill was overpowering even for myself. Smelly does not mean clean. Neither one of us could use it.
