Great Appliance!

This product has served us well for over nine years. We had no issues until recently when it just stopped working. I truly appreciated the defrosting feature along with a touch operation. It was great while it lasted. We're looking to purchase possibly another GE vs the LG similar model which we also like. Thanks GE for such a great appliance.

works great

I had the same one prior as my new microwave and it lasted 10 years, works great the change out was a breeze, because it was another GE but the exhaust is much better design where' the only thing i would change on my new one would be to change the light on the bottom, to light up the cooking area, is to put the light closer to the front.

Good Replacement

I like being able to use the timer independently of when I'm cooking something. There are more special features than I'll probably ever use. I'm still getting used to the one-touch cooking (using #1-6 for 1-6 minutes of cooking on high power) because I used to frequently press 2+0 for 20 seconds of reheat on a cold cup of tea. This is fast and easy but a little disconcerting when the oven just STARTS as soon as I hit the 2! Drawback: the oven doesn't seem to heat food as quickly as my previous oven, although I believe this is a 1000-watt, like the previous model I had (not a GE). The grease filter is easy to remove/clean/reinstall. The light over the stove is almost useless, except for a night light.
