Garden Cart

Overall, I am pleased with the cart. It is attractive, with vibrant green paint and bright yellow wheels. Where I encountered problems was in in putting it together. The instructions were poorly written, and the photos were small and did not show the details clearly. Even with the use of a magnifying glass it was difficult to see how some parts were supposed to be assembled. Also the instructions were not consistent in how they presented details causing me to assemble and then disassemble the bolts and nuts holding the front axle to the frame. I was one washer short, and the smaller washers were so thin that I went to my local hardware store to buy thicker thicker ones. I question the stated capacity of 880 pounds. The bed is 3.78 sq. ft. which means that if you fit something into the bed, i.e. without it extending over the sides at all, it would support 233 lbs./sq. ft. It seems unlikely you would load that much on it. If you take the rails off, you could let a load extend past the bed itself on the sides and rear, but it probably would not be practical to extend a load too far and still be able to control it, and the load would have to be pretty evenly balanced so the cart does not tip over. I would note that the tires are supposed to support a little over 300 pounds each. I think the 880 lb. capacity is not really practical but is "sales talk" to encourage its purchase. All this being said, the cart rolls smoothly over the ground, and it should hold up well for what we wanted it for which is to move flower pots, garden implements, potting soil, etc. around our yard. My wife will be able to handle it better than our wheelbarrow. I am pleased with the cart, and the price was reasonable.
