Great idea!

The tamper is such a great idea. No other blender has this (or at least Vitamix was the first). This is a safe way of ensuring all food items are blended properly with no large particles in the final product. Definitely a must-have item if you are blending highly fibrous fruits and vegetables for your smoothies or soups.

GREAT, smaller Tamper

I LOVE the ease with which the Mini Tamper helps the Vitamix machine remove the air pockets that often form in the bottom corners of the 48oz and other compatible containers. In addition, the Mini Tamper being color matched to the 48oz Classic/Legacy container lids helps avoid confusion as to which Tamper to use with which container.
