Great laptop! Super easy to get up and running - the step by step menus were very intuitive and easy to navigate. Out of the box setup time was 20 minutes or so - no kidding - it was that fast and user-friendly! It just so happens I'm in the middle of online school for my son and this laptop is outstanding - it has all the basic apps he needs, was very easy to get hooked up to our Wi-Fi, and he loves the keyboard layout and options. One feature I was not expecting was the Cortana digital assistant - not sure that I need/want to talk to my laptop, but still a very nice extra and I guess everything is plugged into a digital assistant these days! Lots of storage space on here and the processor runs quickly enough for the applications we're using. The screen resolution is good and I had no problem connecting to my existing peripherals. While I did not have to rely on any of the HP support options, there seems to be plenty of help available if you need it. The initial set up menus offered links to help screens, there is an HP "jump start" wizard available after set up, and there are stickers with help links on the laptop casing, itself. I consider myself pretty comfortable with computers, but I would say anyone willing to work through the menus and help options could get this laptop up and running, no problem, and there's lots of assistance available even if you're not used to setting up new systems on your own. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this laptop and I think we'll get many years of use out of it.

I have the HP 14 Ryzen 3 laptop computer in a silver color. This laptop comes with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB solid-state drive. This is a nice size device as it is a slim notebook PC weighing in at just under four pounds. This is an easy laptop to carry around between classes and work. You are probably not going to be doing much gaming on this laptop with only 4GB of ram. You can, however, with ease watch Netflix, do work with Word or Excel documents, and spend plenty of time scrolling through the web. I quickly noticed some issues with the laptop before even turning it on. First, the bezels on the monitor are massive compared to the size of the screen. Second, the key switches are membrane and feel very mushy while typing. Since I code a lot, but had no computer to use on trips, I find this laptop to be perfect for coding and browsing the web. If you are planning to watch videos or Netflix be prepared to grab you some earbuds as the speakers are not the best. The mic is also below par for standards today, but that's not too big a deal. The webcam is laggy, but it does get the job done. So, just understand what you are getting, a nice compact laptop that is small and light and that can perform most computing jobs just fine. It is not meant to be a high-end gaming laptop with plenty of storage so do not buy it with gaming in mind.
